We bought a Gentoo Home

• It was always going to have be a special house to make us want to leave our period property. After many failed attempts at viewing new builds we finally viewed the lime and fell in love with it's open plan living and spacious rooms. Using the part exchange scheme made the moving process seamless and the experience with gentoo has been excellent, making the move a possibility in the first place. We would definitely recommend moving to a gentoo home.

• We had wanted to sell and move to a bigger home. However we were finding trying to sell our old home very stressful when a part exchange opportunity with Gentoo became available for a Willow style home at Thurcroft. The part exchange was a very positive experience with helpful staff who made the process very smooth. We love our new home it has a fantastic layout with ample living space and much needed storage and is in a brilliant location for our young family, close to good schools and local shops. The aftercare from Gentoo once we moved in has also been outstanding and I can’t thank all the Gentoo staff enough for the support they have provided.

• Having viewed a number of new build properties in the area, Gentoo's Foxdale development was by far the best for location, layout and value for money. The house styles appealed to us due to the well designed and spacious rooms, large driveways with double garages and energy saving devices which completed the homes. The location is great to walk into town and is also based on a main bus route.

  We used the part-exchange scheme to purchase our new home and the team were very helpful, personable and professional in all aspects of the move and the customer aftercare has been great.

• My partner and I were looking to purchase our first home together. We required a larger style home to accommodate our blended family. We wanted a location with a country feel but within easy traveling distance to our places of work in Newcastle. The Gentoo development in Wylam offered exactly what we were looking for and we are now the proud owners of a Douglas property at Hedley Meadows. We are particularly impressed with the generous sized rooms and the large open plan kitchen diner. The quality of finish along with fixtures and fittings is also of the highest quality.To top it all off we used Gentoo’s part exchange facility which meant we were able to complete the transaction and move in within 4 weeks of making an offer. • We have moved into our dream home at ‘Bramblewood’. The ‘Lime’ is an excellent size and we love the spacious layout, especially the kitchen/diner where we spend most of our time. It’s in a great location for walks and is served by several local pubs. We are delighted to be in our new home and appreciate it every day.

• The tree lined setting and the surroundings is what initially attracted us to Cottier Grange. We originated from Prudhoe and we were keen to return to the area. We were upsizing to a modern 3 bedroom home and we love the open plan living space and our large garden. When we visited the site we were warmly welcomed by Michael the sales advisor who helped us every step of the way from reservation to the day we moved in.

• I was immediately impressed by the development at Cottier Grange, the tree lined drive and landscaped grounds certainly have the wow factor! The location is fantastic, the development has a rural feel with a multitude of woodland walks on the doorstep. Purchasing a Simonburn home with Gentoo was also a good experience. My advisor Michael was very professional and organised, keeping me regularly updated throughout. Michael made what can be a stressful time very straightforward. The Simonburn is a fantastic house with well proportioned rooms, the kitchen/diner is a particularly nice space. The garden is also a very good size and for me and further ads to the quiet rural feel.

• As soon as we walked into the Hawthorn at Highfields Manor we knew this was the home for us. We had been looking to move for several years and the Hawthorn and Highfields Manor ticked all our boxes. We decided to part-ex our house and the service from start to finish was excellent. Harry and Joanna provided support throughout and this continued with Craig the site manager when we moved in. We absolutely love our new home and it was the best decision we have ever made.
